News Update

Hey guys, how’s it been? I thought I give an update here and on the newsletter on some writing news and something happening to me in my life that will make the writing process take a break

I’ll be moving this week to Indiana so I’ve put writing The Mage King on hold for now.

I have made some progress on it, about 3k words for an outline, but I’m not even close to finishing that outline. If anyone knows my writing process then they would know that I take my outlines extremely seriously and extremely detailed. The Dawnedge War’s outline took about 3 months to write and I went through 7 versions of it and changed the ending several times while writing the actual first draft before I settled on the finished version.

Hey, let’s talke Dawnedge War! It’s written and going through the second pass of editing. I’ve requested soem adjustments to the book cover…and I’M BEING PUBLISHED. Yup a freshly new indie publishing company is making The Dawnedge War on of the first 3 books to be published. They are taking a real chance on me and they don’t yet own the first 2 books or their audio books. So we’ll see what comes out of this, but I’ve been signed to a 5 year contract.

Finally, let’s talk Patreon. I started a Patreon to help fund the audio books. As of now the publishing company is a bit small and new to fund them themselves, so I’m taking this one on myself. With the Patreon you can have access to monthly lore, drawings, emojis, the audio book files, art files, and even a thanks in my upcoming books for the highest tier.

I plan on touching up and organizing the Angelic Tongue Dictionary and putting it on this site so that you guys can translate the usages of them from the books. The Dawnedge War uses it a lot!

I will also try to keep more up to date with the blog now that the 3rd book is due for a release in Late September - mid October.
