The Mage King is Now on Amazon!

4 down, 1 to go!

Another notch in my belt, The Mage King, after 2 years, is finally finished! Let’s look back. Who’d have thought after getting my butt kicked in OC battles with writing that I’d start typing Vendetta’s Rise in 2014 and then 10 years later I’d have 4 novels, 1 lore book, and 2 poetry books?

NOT ME…not even a little.

But here we are, here i am. 10 years later and I just dropped the new book. long whistle, book 4 in The Dragon Realms Saga.

You know this book is real special to me. More than any book that’s come before it. In this, I have my dark, depressed, and tormented main character find a slice of his own happiness and come out of the closet and embrace his sexuality. I toyed with writing LBGTQ+ characters in the past. Had a villain (so stereotypical, I know that now.) Avalon and Vada are lesbians, but it’s never truly explored, but finally in The Mage King we see Elucard find love and really explore and develop that relationship.

It was only last month when I posted Elucard kissing another man on instagram that I was publically harrassed for it and I knew I needed to release this book more than ever. For myself, for those gay teens looking for a hero to look to, for everyone that wanted an assassin that can swing a sword, find love, and fight for his happy ending. Just like every LGBTQ+ person that has to fight for their right to happiness every day!!!!

Is the Mage King a personally journey? The process of writing it was, but Elucard isn’t me. i don’t have a personal stake in his life like I might have for Wiccer in Blood and Bounty, but I can relate to Elucard all the same as I am sure with anyone that questions their path, for the road to walk in life. Elucard has been walking since book 1, but now he has found his route to his destination. He was lost this entire time, finding pitfalls and dead ends. In Book 4 his path is clearer, paved, and the entire way home is lit, but it still has the nasty pothole.

So join him, Inle, and Koda in another chapter in that journey, if you liked the road so far…then why not keep reading? Check it out and the rest of the series on Amazon!
