9 Months of Burnout...Ended!

Hey guys, it’s been a while

Allow me an update of what happened to me, where I’ve been and have I’ve been writing?

So I experienced a deep bout of depression for the last 9 months taken on by the fact that I ran into a serious degree of burnout from writing. I always take extended breaks from writing, but not 9 months worth.

During that time, we got a new roommate, so the house has been very crowded, and I get real stressed out when there’s lots of people in the house.

Then my beloved cat, Pidge (of the Pidge Poems) passed away the week of my birthday…so life’s been roguh lately.

So to deal with the burnout i have, as reported, been trying to work on new projects. A new book series, a reboot of DRS, but nothing really helped

But what did help? A drawing. I did a drawing for a friend which resparked my love for Elucard and Cade and that pushed me to get back into writing.

So, have I been writing? YES!!!! I wrote 6 chapters for Wintertide’s first draft in the last 2 weeks!!!
I haven’t gone full steam ahead or anything, but I am writing and I have rediscovered my love for what I’ve created these last 13 years….13 years…wow, wild that I started writing Vendetta’s Rise in 2013 and my god I’ve been through so much, i’ve learned so much, and I’ve met so many people.

So what’s next?
I want to finish the first draft of Wintertide by fall and release the book in summer 2027 or fall 2027 at the latest! Then, we’ll see where we go from there!
